Ajay
We chose to travel with a private driver because we had good experiences with that in the past. This time it was satisfied too: especially the good communication with Rob before we left and the good rapport with Ajay during the trip.
We have enjoyed our trip very much.
The safe way of driving from Ajay in the busy and hectic traffic gave us rest and trust. But also the nice personality and his good advices and support ensured that we did not have to worry about anything.
The day after we landed in Delhi, we have flown through to Amritsar. In Amritsar we have been picked up by Ajay.
Within 13 days we have visited the following places: Amritsar-Dharamshala-Shimla-Rishikesh.
The first two nights in Amritsar we have stayed in a hotel that we book ourselves. For the other nights we have discussed with Ajay where to stay. We have also discussed and sometimes changed our programme in consultation with Ajay.
Visiting Shimla was a bit disappointing so on the advice of Ajay we have visited Rishikesh one day extra.
We have had a wonderful time. The highlights of this trip where the golden temple in Amritsar, the snowy mountain peaks in Dharamshala and the gats and ambiance in Rishikesh.
